Praktik Pengasuhan Anak di Madura: Kajian Literatur

Abstract
Studie on parenting has focused heavily on the parenting style developed by Baumrind. Previous research focusing on cross-cultural parenting has shown that parenting practices are not universally accepted across cultures, despite minor similarities, including childcare practices in Madura. This study is a literature review. A literature review is a systematic process for examining, evaluating, and summarizing relevant literature on a topic. Researchers collected articles through Google Scholar, Garba Rujukan Digital (Garuda), and Onesearch.id databases using keywords such as parenting, Madura. They limited the search to the period 2021-2025. Furthermore, the fifteen collected articles were analyzed using narrative literature. The results show that in Madura, Madurese society is rich in traditions and values that influence how parents raise their children. For example, the influence of Islam in the daily lives of Madurese, where religious values often shape parenting patterns based on discipline and responsibility.
