Social Studies Learning In The Perspective Of Multicultural Education At MTs 01 Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo Of 2024-2025 Academic Year

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) explain social studies learning at MTs 01 Al-Bulus Purworejo in the 2024-2025 academic year, (2) explain the social studies learning process from a multicultural education perspective at MTs 01 Al-Bulus Purworejo in the 2024-2025 academic year, (3) determine the impact of social studies learning from a multicultural education perspective at MTs 01 Al-Bulus Purworejo in the 2024-2025 academic year, (4) determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of social studies learning from a multicultural education perspective at MTs 01 Al-Bulus Purworejo in the 2024-2025 academic year. The research design used is qualitative research with a case study approach using the Milles and Huberman interactive data analysis model. Research results (1) the implementation of social studies learning at MTs 01 Al Iman Bulus Purworejo in the 2024-2025 academic year has used the independent curriculum. The implementation of social studies learning which took place during the 2024-2025 academic year was accompanied by the P5ra project, (2) the social studies learning process with a multicultural education perspective at MTs 01 Al Iman Bulus Purworejo used various learning models such as PBL, PJBL, discovery learning and inquiry learning. During the learning process, students are required to be more active in exploring themselves, because this independent curriculum is based on independent learning, 3) the impact of social studies learning that uses a multicultural education perspective is an open attitude to accepting friends from other regions, without mocking the various unique language dialects brought by friends from various regions, (4) supporting and inhibiting factors for social studies learning in implementing a multicultural education perspective, namely moral and material support from various parties, the role of parents is very important in the form of motivation and material support for their children, while the role of the school and teachers is to provide students with the right to be enthusiastic about learning at MTs 01 Al-Iman, Bulus, Purworejo
