Penerapan Manajemen Perpustakaan Sekolah Dalam Mendukung Proses Belajar Mengajar Di SMAN 3 Kota Bengkulu

Abstract
School library management strongly supports the teaching and learning process starting from school library procedures and school library policies, collection management, funding and procurement, facilities, human resources and planning. The purpose of the research is the application of library management in SMAN. Conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods with interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the research found that the application of library management in SMAN 3 has not been effective in helping the teaching and learning process. Based on interviews and observations, it can be seen that it is not yet appropriate in implementing school library management such as procedures in the library only carry out procedures in the form of vision, mission, rules and schedules of visits while the policy is only in the form of proposals, namely adding collections of books, magazines, bookshelves, shoe racks, newspaper hangers and reading corners that have been approved by the principal, then the minimum number of effective collections to help teaching and learning, one of which is a collection containing literary works, after that the SMAN 3 library carries out funding and budgets only to purchase learning collections and there are no facilities that support the needs in searching for information and a lack of human resources in the field of information science and technology. However, the SMAN 3 library has provided policy proposals in the form of increasing the book collection, creating a reading corner and then providing comfortable facilities in the form of air conditioning and computers integrated with the internet.
