Pembentukan Kelompok Berbasis AI dalam Pembelajaran Mendongeng untuk Karakter Siswa

Abstract
The development of digital technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era demands educational transformation, including Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning group formation in storytelling to strengthen students' character education. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a library research approach, analyzing various scientific journals, books, and relevant studies through content analysis. The findings indicate that AI-based grouping creates a more balanced distribution of learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic), thereby supporting effective and participatory collaboration. This integration also helps teachers optimize student interaction, increase engagement in storytelling activities, and strengthen characters such as empathy, responsibility, cooperation, and discipline in accordance with 21st-century learning demands. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as limited technology access, teacher readiness, and students' digital literacy. The implications of this research emphasize the need for synergistic support from the government, schools, teachers, and parents so that AI-based learning implementation can run optimally, inclusively, and equitably.
