Standarisasi Mushaf Utsmani

Abstract
This article discusses the standardization of the Ottoman Qur'an, including the background, characteristics, and distribution process of the Qur'an. This study aims to determine the process of standardization of the Ottoman Qur'an and the background of its standardization. The research method applied in this study is qualitative research, using library research sources with a historical descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the standardization of the Qur'an writing during the Caliph Uthman ibn Affan era was a strategic step to maintain the unity of the Muslim community and avoid differences and conflicts in reading the Qur'an. The Ottoman Qur'an has distinctive characteristics, including using the tartib Qur'an, containing 114 surahs, and written in the Quraysh dialect as a form of linguistic consistency. The standardization of the Ottoman Qur'an made a significant contribution to maintaining the unity of the Muslim community. With the existence of a standard Qur'an, conflicts and differences in related readings that have the potential to cause division can be minimized.cahan dapat diminimalisasi.
