Filsafat Politik untuk Zaman Retak: Reformasi Moral Al-Ghazali bagi Tata Kelola Negara Modern

Abstract
Modern state management crisis is shown by the weakening of political ethics, the increasing corruption, and the decreasing public trust in government institutions. This situation shows a gap between the current government practices (das sein) and the ideal, just state management (das sollen). This journal aims to analyze the concept of moral reform by Al-Ghazali and its relevance to modern state management. The research method used is a library study with a philosophical-normative approach through analysis of Al-Ghazali's works and related scientific literature. The findings show that Al-Ghazali places morality as the main foundation of political power, where rulers are seen as holders of trust who must govern fairly and responsibly. The moral reform proposed by Al-Ghazali is relevant for strengthening the principles of good governance that focus on integrity, justice, and public welfare.
