Penerapan Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Dalam Pembelajaran Di Sekolah Dasar: Systematic Literature Review

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in elementary school instruction through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. A total of 15 selected articles were analyzed to identify teachers’ roles, implementation strategies, supporting factors, challenges, and the impacts of SEL on students. The findings indicate that SEL contributes positively to students’ empathy, emotional regulation, social interaction, learning motivation, and the creation of a more supportive classroom climate. Teachers play a central role as facilitators, behavioral role models, and classroom managers who integrate SEL into learning activities. Identified implementation strategies include integrating SEL into the curriculum, collaborative learning, storytelling, positive reinforcement, and the development of an inclusive school culture. Several challenges were also identified, such as limited teacher training, the lack of systematic guidelines, and insufficient supporting facilities. Overall, this SLR emphasizes the importance of sustainable SEL implementation in 21st-century learning and provides a mapping of findings that can serve as a foundation for program development and future research
